A website redesign for Happening Interactive (the cobbler's kids get some new kicks).
I tossed out the old, somewhat funny website and built the one you see now over a weekend.
I wanted to concentrate on simplicity, but have some fun with it. I was inspired by memories of the great sites people made in the Flash era and before, before we had rules for these kinds of things, before people had an idea of what a website is supposed to be. Back then, there was no "right way" to build a website, and in fact, you can write and publish whole books on web design if you came up with a merely good way.
I don't think we'll ever get back to those Wild West days, and mostly there's been nothing but progress in the web design/development game.
But it was pretty fun to learn this stuff at the same time the world did&emdash;pretty much every web designer and developer was on the cutting edge. The cutting edge was all there was!
No Artificial Intelligence was used in the making of this site. Some Regular Intelligence was used, but no more than necessary.
